“It was bought in 2011, and ever since me and my wife are so sick in tired of buying and buying and buying these valve stems that are junk and it looks like 15 dollars to buy but its 60$ to put in..this is garbage completely useless.. You fill the tire up and you can hear the air come out of it its like a every couple of months I've had to buy one now I think its time to say something this should be a recall to put regular old fashioned valve stems and take them TPMS out of the cars/trucks some people cant afford these things every couple of months.”

NHTSA complaint #10492344, filed 2013-01, 35,000 miles

“Friday october 29th 2010, I was driving on interstate and my rim blew a hole. My tire is fine ,but I have a huge hole in my rim. I didn't run over anything and I was just getting on the interstate so I was doing around 50mph. In the right hand lane thank god or I would have taken cars out with me. I was just driving and I heard this very scary, loud sound and it jerked me off to the right and I pulled over and called for help. I took it to a dealer and they have in the 30years he worked there ever seen anything like it. The district manager ok'd for me to get a new rim. …”

NHTSA complaint #10363789, filed 2010-11, 47,000 miles

“This vehicle has had a number of electrical and /or computer problems. The first set of tires on the vehicle were worn out because the computer would say they had low pressure, so we would fill them and check them with the onboard tire pressure, otherwise it would continue to say the tires were low. The gas gauge goes from full to empty and back at least 10 times a day, they say at the service dept it's the fuel sending switch. Service stabilitrac warning comes on at various times. …”

NHTSA complaint #10398994, filed 2011-05, 87,000 miles

“Chevy vehicles have had multiple problems with their TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) on all vehicle types. The failure occurs at the wheel itself. Although this is a safety device, it has turned into a useless piece of equipment which no owner can afford to keep up with . What happens is that the pressure monitor system at the wheel is very sensitive and fails quickly. The amount of repair for one unit costs approximately $200, and that is for one wheel. Chevy should be doing a recall on all vehicles, that have the TPMS system. …”

NHTSA complaint #10435332, filed 2011-11, 54,000 miles

“Low tire presher lights stay on even when the tire presher is ok. Also I want to say the anti sliding feature says it is not working as well. I could be wrong about this feature but there si a button on the gear shift that controls this option. The button will not turn it on and off.”
