“I have a 2002 chevy Trailblazer with goodyear wrangler sr-a tires. These tires are the absolute worst tires I have ever owned in my 34 years of driving! In dry conditions they are tolerable but one can tell that they're not sticking well to the road. When it rained slightly it becomes near impossible to drive with these tires. The best way to describe it is as if you are trying to drive on a slick roadway almost like driving on oil or similiar to driving a race car on slick tires to drift with.”
NHTSA complaint #11277842, filed 2019-11, 156,000 miles“Recently bought a car that I believe they are illegally passing the inspections on. They proclaimed that fixed a major part to keep the tires on my car tie rods and cv axel. …”
NHTSA complaint #11109795, filed 2018-07, 220,000 miles“From first attempt to use the spare tire lowering device it has not worked. Goes down about three inches and stops. Tire cannot be removed. This is a problem when stuck on the highway and is a real safety concern. Chevy has told me that nothing covers this. I am reporting this so that if other people are experiencing the same problem it will be rectified.”
NHTSA complaint #10212392, filed 2007-12, 31,000 miles“It was drizzling that morning. I was driving in the far right lane. When all of a sudden my steering wheel was taking over my driving. My truck went left into another lane on its on. I saw another vehicle coming up in that left lane. All I could do was ask my truck what was wrong. And I started talking to the lord. Please don't let me hit this truck. Please help me. Next thing I was pulled back to the right hand lane and then off the road I went. I went through the woods over stomps and bumps. And then crashed into a huge tree. I fainted.I heard someone yelling. I opened my eyes to life. …”
NHTSA complaint #10579346, filed 2014-04, 180,000 miles“Frame around forward control arm mounts rusted nearly through. Bottoms of doors rusting from the inside. Wheels corroding around beads which has created a constant bead leak.”
