“Exterior lights flicker on and off everyday while I'm driving even though the light knob is in the off position the lights will go on and off(exterior lighting and dash lights). Took it to a few mechanics and they say I need to replace the electrical wiring which costs $400-600!! Please recall this is not safe and I'm obviously not the only owner experiencing this problem, thanks!”
NHTSA complaint #10512703, filed 2013-05, 9,500 miles“Lights flashing on and off this is the first time it has done it but I think that is enough cause this is a huge safety issue when your driving at night and all the sudden you have no lights and once I pulled over they still continued to flash on and off I will not trust this car for along time now after dark and that is really sad cause I really enjoy this car.”
NHTSA complaint #10363801, filed 2010-11, 135,000 miles“The indicator lights on the dash come on while driving, witch causes the head lights to go out. I think this is a very dangers thing to happen. Chrysler corporation should recall this model car and take care of the problem before I have an accident.”
NHTSA complaint #10810629, filed 2015-12, 66,900 miles“I notice my lights blinking in the middle of the day when I was behind a big truck. Since then it appears to happen almost everytime I start the car and tends to go away after 30 minutes of running. At night it is very dangerous. The lights will blink and sometimes go completely off.. When I turn them off they come back on..then go out again I turn the switch and they come back on.. Sometimes the dash lights also go completely out and other times they go from dim to bright and back to dim.”
NHTSA complaint #10779155, filed 2015-10, 160,000 miles“While driving app 55 MPH at app 8pm at night my cars lights and all the dash lights went out and the car completely stalled. I was able to turn on flashers and coast the car to the side of the road. I sat there for several minutes and then the car restarted. Fortunately there was no one following behind me. I have been out of town on business and used a company car. Upon my return I took my car to our local shop today. They were unable to detect any problems, however shared an article stating more than 150,000 Chrysler owners have had similar trouble. …”
