“It runs quiet and everything it just cut off on me while I was on brake at a stopping position, I was at a light on my brakes and it cut off on me, I just bought it yesterday, and filled my tank up...I love this car, what is wrong with it?”

NHTSA complaint #10692703, filed 2015-03, 156,780 miles

“On my way to work I stopped and put $15 dolalrs in the tank I was just below a half tank now. I drove roughly 5-10miles and when I was driving around 30mph the oil can light came on and then my steering got tight and brakes got tight. It was like they went out. My car engine then shut off and I coasted to the shoulder the best I could. This almost caused a large accident. I tried starting the car immediately after it made noise but would not start a couple minutes later I started it and the car started fine.”

NHTSA complaint #11139281, filed 2018-10, 150,000 miles

“About three yrs ago went for oil change found out my was cracked had to replace axle and steering asked if it was a recall they said no.. Now 2013 I park the car and the car wont shift from park called Chrysler no recall notice there's been many cases of shifting gear not able to shift or falling off shift when park.. My auto will not shift from park this a defect I feel Chrysler should have this problem fix and put as a recall.”

NHTSA complaint #10546643, filed 2013-10, 80,000 miles

“Brake rotors became warped about 17000 miles then got worse and worse. I replaced the tires at about 30,000 and had the pads checked. The pads were ceramic type and had zero wear. The rotors are a problem. My 05 dodge 4x4 has the same problem and it only has 23000 miles. Chrysler is buying bad rotors!!!!!!”

NHTSA complaint #10234336, filed 2008-07, 17,000 miles

“This is the second time I've had to pay to replace the ABS hub (complete axle) due to rust/rotting. When the ABS ring rust or rots, the ABS module becomes confused and activates intermittently. I was driving the vehicle and the brakes locked intermittently causing a very dangerous situation. I stopped thinking that it would reset something but it happened again. I had to take it to a repair shop once again and now I've had to pay over $1,000 for the rear axles and now $1,000 for the front. Axles have to be replaced each time. These rings should not simply rot and cause a dangerous situation!”

NHTSA complaint #11279434, filed 2019-11, 102,000 miles
