“Purchased vehicle in april of 08 and in august of 08 it would not turn on while I was picking my daughter up from school. I took it in to the dealership but they couldn't find the problem. The same think happened twice in november and again in december, again they couldn't find the problem. In april of 09 it stalled again at a ball game while it was raining and thundering and I had my 5 and 1 year old with me. I called the dealership to get it towed so they could find the problem. Two days later they call me and say it was the fuel pump. …”

The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the dealer due to the check engine light remaining illuminated. The dealer replaced the evap leak detection pump, sealed the fuel cap and reprogrammed the PCM. The manufacturer was notified who was still researching the failure. The failure mileage was 65,659.”
