“The contact owns a 2010 Dodge Caravan. The contact stated that the power lock system malfunctioned on the rear driver's side sliding door. As a result, the door would not lock when the contact attempted to lock the door using the key fob. The contact stated that the door would unlock, but it would not lock. The contact took the vehicle to a local dealer for a diagnostic test. The test results stated that there was a defect in the software and the software needed to be upgraded. The failure mileage was 56,000.”
