“The smart glass switch for the power windows drains the battery while the car is powered off. Chrysler has a 'minor' recall on it for my make and model of my car, but they decided my VIN is not included even though all of the symptoms of the recall are present and my vehicle matches the year make and model of the recall”

“Just got through an intersection instrument panel all lights started flashing then car shut down could not steer had no hazard lights nothing it is part of a chrysler recall was a very dangerous situation it was dark my car is black and I had no way of letting traffic know I was there if I had a flare in the trunk I couldn't get to it as latch is electrical and so it didn't work. …”

NHTSA complaint #10672884, filed 2015-01, 55,000 miles

“The alternator in my 2011 Challenger failed. I took the vehicle to a private repair facility. They tried to order a replacement alternator, and the dealership would not release them the part, claiming they, the dealership, must perform the repair. This is not what the recall letter states, nor can or will the dealership perform this repair in a timely manner. My car has been down since 9/22, and the dealer will not perform the repair until 10/5.”
