“Takata recall recall #: s43/NHTSA 16v-352 I received the above safety recall notice in may 2016 and to date the Dodge dealership located in simi valley, california is advising that they do not have the parts to perform the safety recall. I took my car in to the dealership for maintenance and was advised at that time the the recall could still not be performed.”
NHTSA complaint #10968703, filed 2017-03, 75,000 miles“My airbag is showing that there is an issue. I have been continuously checking the recalls for my VIN since the beginning of this recall notice and my vehicle is still not one that appears to be on the list for recall. I am sure it needs to be. I don't know what else to do. I believe that my car should have the necessary life saving repairs completed at no charge to me since this is a recall issue.”
NHTSA complaint #11064571, filed 2018-01, 58,000 miles“Air bags go on and off randomly as described in NHTSA #13v118000. Chrysler says my car is not included in that recall and refuse to even look at it. Every time I hit a bump my airbag light comes on or goes off. Most of the time my airbags do not work.”
NHTSA complaint #11083115, filed 2018-04, 4 miles“On april 6, 2019, while I was driving, my airbag light came on and stayed solid red, then it would go off and on with chiming sound. Because my 2011 Challenger is not in recall, dealer will charge unwarranted cost.”
NHTSA complaint #11194419, filed 2019-04, 76,130 miles“The air bag light on my 2011 Challenger keeps coming on for no reason . I found on line that they were being recalled for faulty wiring connecters on the passenger and driver side seat air bags . I contacted the dealer and they told me I had to wait for a recall notice and I have not gotten one . I contacted chrysler and they tell me to get it fix and pay for it my self because the recall is VIN specific . If they no there is a problem with faulty parts ,I think they should have to take care of it no charge.”
