“While driving home on the washington capiltal beltway with my sunroof fully retracted it was a loud boom and exploded. There were small pieces of glass on me and my seat as well as glass all within the inside portion of my car.”

NHTSA complaint #11176543, filed 2019-02, 80,000 miles

“While unloading items from the trunk of my 2015 Dodge Challenger, I had the misfortune of the trunk lid falling my head and almost knocking me out. The trunk will not stay up on its own (especially when parked on an incline). The weight of the trunk is too heavy for the struts that are designed for it. This is not the first time the struts have failed on the trunk of this vehicle and have been replaced by a Dodge oem dealer (approx 2 years ago). I feel like this could be a safety issue for other Dodge owners in the future.”

NHTSA complaint #11408657, filed 2021-04, 81,000 miles

“While I was driving on 37th& samson st as I was pulling off the gas pedal got stuck and the vehicle accelerate and I lost total control of the vehicle it caused me to crash into a pole and a tree”

NHTSA complaint #10884050, filed 2016-07, 37,000 miles

“I own a 2015 Dodge Challenger. While driving various speeds the vehicle will randomly stall and display come to a complete stop and select the appropriate gear. This has happened 10-15 times. I have taken the vehicle to a Dodge dealership 3 times. On the second visit they replaced the transmission and valve body. I left the dealership and was only 4 blocks away and the vehicle stalled and displayed the same error. The vehicle is currently at the dealership and they say they cannot duplicate what is happening, so they don't know how to troubleshoot the problem. …”

NHTSA complaint #10870784, filed 2016-05, 16,000 miles

“Rear end has gone out twice and again is howling. When using paddle shifters the right side is to upshift, it often downshifts instead. Dodge has changed out paddle shifters 3 seperate occasions but issue continues. Its an abrupt downshift while in motion trying to upshift. This is a continuous issue that happens often”
