Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“ON 12/24/2025 I found a foot long stress crack on the passenger side of the windshield. I was a National Glass Association Technician for 10 years I can tell the difference between a stress crack and an impact crack. There is no reason for this 2023 vehicle to have a stress crack with only 38,000 miles. Apparently, this is an ongoing issue all one needs to do is google the condition to see there is a problem with these vehicles and windshield stress cracks. …”

NHTSA complaint #11707567, filed 2025-12

“It's not only related to my particular car. I moved to the US two years ago and was surprised how INSAINLY DANGEROUS driver side mirrors all of the American cars have. There is always a HUGE blind spot. People keep saying that if I adjust my mirrors properly there will be no problem, but it is not true. I've been driving for more than 10 years and now, at least once a week, I find myself in a dangerous situation. The bad thing is - it's is impossible to find a convex mirror as a replacement here. …”

NHTSA complaint #11567492, filed 2024-01

“The front windshield spontaneously cracked from the A frame. This is dangerous because it weakens the windshield and can impair vision. Multiple people online have complained about the same issue with their 2023 Challengers. I had it fixed at my dealership and through my insurance for an exorbitant amount of money. I contacted Stellantis and they tried to get in contact with the dealership but I dont believe they did. It doesn't appear they ever did their own investigation nor did they ever respond to my requests for reimbursement. …”

NHTSA complaint #11723285, filed 2026-03

“Have a crack that started from A pillar without any indication of any hit on the windshield. Took to dealer and they checked and agreed it has no chip that started the crack and there are numerous reports of 2023 Challengers windshields cracking for no reason in the exact same spot. Dealer tried to get a good will done through Stellantis and they denied the claim because it was over the 12 month warranty”

NHTSA complaint #11753813, filed 2026-07

“Within two days of owning the car the windshield cracked. I was backing out of garage and heard a sound, a crack appeared on the passenger side of windshield midway up. It extended horizontally approx 12 toward the center of windshield. Have heard multiple other customers have had the same issue.”
