“Takata recall I have went on line approximately 5 times trying to get this taken care of. Twice I was directed to a nearby dealer whom has put me on the list to have them replaced when they get more airbags in. They have not called me back and claim to never have had the information about me. Please help. My warning light comes on a lot. It comes on while driving”

My vehicle (which she drives on a daily basis), 2006 Dodge Dakota, was struck forward of the front wheels on the driver's side by a chevy tahoe while making a right turn from a side street onto a busy, 4 lane divided highway. The collision tore the front bumper off of my/her Dakota and caused major front end damage. Her and a friend were both wearing seatbelts and were not seriously injured. The airbags did not deploy. …”

“Back on 1/14/2015 I brought my 2006 Dodge Dakota to a dealership for replacement of rusted brake lines. About two months later, at 45k mi., my driver side seat belt indicator light started to flicker on start-up. Shortly thereafter it would remain lit after start-up. I waited to request re-servicing my vehicle, only to find out the air bags were on recall. Therefore, I waited until I was given the call to bring my vehicle in for air bag replacement. The date for servicing was 10/30/2015. …”
