“We bought this car as the third owner the air bag light was on the cruise control didn't work and the horn wouldn't sound.after searching the internet, and finding out that they had many many of the internal pasts changed and the multitudes of people reimbursed, we took our car to the dealer and told because we were the third owner, and that the mileage was high, they would not accept responsibility. The car was never been in a accident, nor has it been abused. I think that because my horn can't work it may be a concern. …”

NHTSA complaint #10353903, filed 2010-09, 139,852 miles“I own a 2002 Intrepid which has a very serious problem with the cruise control. If I set the cruise say at 65 miles per hour it will surge to 70 or more miles per hour before it slowly comes back to 65 miles per hour. I have complained about this to the dealer who eventually replaced the cruise with a new one. There is no difference with the new one. It still surges when it is set. The dealer said there is nothing more they can do. This is very dangerous because I almost hit the car in front of me when I engaged the cruise. I had this problem since I bought the car new.”
