2006: “My shifter will not go out of park. Im stranded. Transmission shifter interlock lever. Ive been on line most of the day and beyond complaints on this one. I am a 55 year old woman and can not rig it to drive like all the men in videos. It is a pink plastic part that was originally put in the car and now everyone is have to buy new ones that are metal. There needs to be a recall asap.”

NHTSA complaint #11122435, filed 2018-08, 91,000 miles

2008: “There is a recall p57 and the vehicle will not start. Took it to the dealer but the part is not available. They have indicated that we would have to pay to have the car fixed at $800 and when the manufacture has the part available they would reimburse us the cost. We do not have $800 and since they know it is a recall the manufacture should pay up front.”
