2007 Dodge Nitro Air bags Problems

“I recently had a random deployment of my side airbags. I was not in a collision and had just drove over a pothole in the road. Although no serious injuries, my family and I have neck soreness and are shaken. If this would have happened spontaneously on a freeway or busy road, I am not sure I would be able to say 'no serious injuries'.”

“I have already put in problem to this web site but no answers so far, I have a 2007 Dodge Nitro slt that the air bag strips are hanging out behind my steering wheel and now my horn does not blow, my speed control is not working, and the white strip is interfering with my steering could you please have my car recalled for takata air bag it was on a city street while making a turn.”

“Airbag light come on and off as not been in wreck comes on while driving and just seating at a stop does not stay on for more than a min are so this is dangerous for me and my kids for it may not work if we are in an accident and it may just go off and cause an accident a lot of people having this issue this needs to be recalled and taken care of by Dodge before someone gets killed”

Obviously after doing some research most Nitro's had this problem and they should all be included in this recall.”

Key fob stopped working setting off engine immobilizer costing me $207 for a new key because the one that came with truck could not be just reprogrammed.
