“Our son was driving a 2009 Dodge at approximately 60 MPH. He hit a vehicle that pulled in front of him with the front end of the Dodge. It continued to travel into a guardrail then flipped over on its top. During this accident the airbags did not deploy. Praise god our son was not injured during this. Shouldn't the airbags have deployed during this??????”

NHTSA complaint #10759627, filed 2015-08, 116,500 miles

“I was e/b hwy 26 around manning, or at approximately 50-55 MPH (posted 55). As I was passing a fruit stand on my right, I heard a loud bang and the vehicle jerked to the right jumped the curb and I veered to the right to avoid the steel guard rail and drove into a drop off about 20 feet below the roadway and struck a pile of 4-6 logs in tall grass. None of the airbags deployed during the collision.”

NHTSA complaint #10722306, filed 2015-05, 30,000 miles

“Pilson auto center in charleston, il has failed to remedy the situation. When the recall was first issued we called the dealership and they said they would put our vehicle on a list and we have yet to hear from them. When I called the dealership they said we were still on a list and that they would call us.”

NHTSA complaint #10876108, filed 2016-06

“Takata recall. I received a recall notice from fiat chrysler automobiles (r25/NHTSA 15v-313) that was termed as an interim notification letter quite a few months ago stating that I would be notified when the repair parts become available. To date I have not received any further notices about the availability of parts. I had a similar experience with the last recall on my Dodge RAM 3500. It appears that fiat chrysler is purposefully failing to notify consumers of parts availability. …”
