“While driving through an intersection (west to east), I was struck on the left side of my vehicle, pushing me to the right into a traffic lane heading north where I then struck a vehicle head on causing front end damage. My air bags did not deploy on impact. This second vehicle was moving forward but slowing down at the time of impact to avoid the accident. I'm the original owner of my vehicle and have had no prior accidents.”
NHTSA complaint #10565492, filed 2014-02, 62,492 miles“I have a 2004 Dodge 3500. The dash has two large cracks. One is above the airbag and I am concerned if the airbag comes out, will the dash come apart and hit the passenger.”
NHTSA complaint #10369456, filed 2010-12, 85,000 miles“Takata recall called dealer (carson city Dodge - jeep) when recall notice was received in the mail, I was added to a list and told to wait, still have not been called even though others have gone in and the dealer has done a replacement without an appointment or them being on the list .”
NHTSA complaint #10946642, filed 2017-01, 130,000 miles“Takata recall. Nothing is happening with this recall, if they have the parts to put in new vehicles they should be putting them in vehicles on the road endangering me and my family's lives. If you stop them from selling trucks till they correct the recall it won't be another 5 or 10 years before they get to my truck. They are just waiting everyone out and you know it.”
NHTSA complaint #11000300, filed 2017-06“I have had 3 appointments to get the recalls taken care of and each time the dealer calls and tells me they do not have the parts to take care of it. This has been going on since may 2015”
