“I totaled my Dodge 3500 I was doing 37 MPH on a main road and drove into a bunch of trees. My airbags did not deploy. My truck is smashed, suspension came out of truck, tire rod snapped in half, radiator burnt, my rim snapped in half, tire popped, hood severely damaged, transmission fell out, bumper and fender severely crunched. I hurt my head badly, airbags didn't deploy. Not impressed and I am now going after Dodge as I have many witnesses and pictures of myself, truck and the accident.”

NHTSA complaint #10711822, filed 2015-04, 135,458 miles

“When my vehicle reached 50000 miles the ABS light, the airbag light and brake light came on for no apparent reason. Dodge has two recalls related to this issue. But as expected my vehicle was not on the recall list. So their solution was for me to purchase the 500.00 dollar part to remedy their poor design and workmanship. This is clearly a huge safety issue and should be addressed promptly. I personally think these failures are by design to sell parts.”

NHTSA complaint #10488130, filed 2012-12, 50,000 miles

“After months of recall notices I finally had spare time to schedule appointment on this recall. It was over a month wait to get it done since there are so many recall for Dodge. I had to schedule for 7am since I work for a living and need truck for work. I took off a few hours to get this repair done. Since I had to get up an hour early to be on time. Service dept was very adamant about being on time to get in and out I arrived 10 minutes early. The lady at the desk informs me that they don't have the parts to fix recall. Are you kidding me? …”

NHTSA complaint #10884725, filed 2016-07, 135,302 miles

“Takata recalls driver and passenger airbags. They were both activated by the truck being backed into while sitting still thus knocking out the rear glass with no injuries to driver or passenger.”

NHTSA complaint #11066734, filed 2018-02, 180,000 miles

“Takata recall - I am unable to get this recall completed. I have been on a waiting list for over 6 months, and am still being told that the dealer is not being provided with an appropriate number of units to complete the recall. I have called Dodge and was told that this is just how it is. I am understandably worried that in the event of an accident this will cause injury to me. I have now received at least 6 recall letters, but still cannot get the recall completed.”
