“My car pushed required recall updates without any indication that it was coming and the next day or two the battery died and car is now showing a red light at charging port and is stuck in neutral. I only received 1/3 updates so I don’t know if that was also the issue. It was executed poorly and bricked my car. I have no idea how to unbrick it to life.”
NHTSA complaint #11646837, filed 2025-03“An over the air update was pushed to my vehicle without my knowledge. It caused my GPS to malfunction having me permently in Alaska. I do not live in Alaska! I had to remove front driver panel and reset fuse manually. I still have not received a water pump replacement or completely been upgraded to new operating system due to availability.”
NHTSA complaint #11643604, filed 2025-02“The water pump was identified as needing replacement by NHTSA and a recall initiated and notice was sent to me to have the item replaced. I was able to find an authorized shop that had the water pump and provided the parts for free, but since Fisker had declared bankruptcy, the labor was not covered and I had to pay $316.68 for the water pump to be replaced.”
NHTSA complaint #11642323, filed 2025-02“My car has been completely unusable on and off for the last 9 months. Currently completely underivable and unable to get a software update or service technician to come to my area to work on it. I'm unable to drive my car. I'm paying for alternative transportation every day. I'm unable to trade my car in as it is not currently drivable.”
NHTSA complaint #11642179, filed 2025-02“After receiving the 2.2 OTA UPDATE, I have lost the Pedestrian warning sounds at low speeds which are required to pass State safety inspections in my state of NC. Without this function the vehicle can not be heard moving down the streets at slow speeds below 18mpg which is a Hazzard. Also the reverse function has lost the warning sound.”
