2003: “When driving my 2003 american tradition motor coach the adjustable pedals, brake and the accelerator are so close together that when I hit the brake and then get back on the accelerator pedal I find my self hitting the brake pedal again because these pedals are only one inch apart. Spartan has separated these pedals on the 2004 & 2005 models by three inches . I think for safety issues there should be some changes made to these 2003 models.”

Five of seven tires on the rv experienced tread separation. The separation caused tailpipe and mud flap damage. The consumer requested reimbursement from the manufacturer for the damage. NHTSA complaint #10038157, filed 2003-09, 18,003 miles1998: “I am a very unsatisfied customer since the first day we bought our rv because we began having problems. On 5/2000 we attended to united rv at ft. Worth, texas, where we bought it on 9/98 and had it fixed. We lost a lot of money in our expenses (which we should haven't paid) and, besides that, we attended a nearby Fleetwood factory at longview, texas, to have it fixed again because it wasn't fixed right the first time. …”
