2006: “Transmission is broken and need replacement. Said to be non-repairable as Ford discontinued making the transmission 3 years after introduction car has only 70,000 miles on it. Now I have large flower planter as I can't drive it! Ford, but for this issue I had a perfectly usable/reliable car! Now it is a safety hazard! What are you going to do about it! Happens in motion”

2007: “The car surges when I take it out of park (reverse or drive). It also surges when slowing down or when I have the brakes on. A little old asian lady cussed me out one day because she was behind my car when I put it in reverse and it surged. I didn't hit her but it really scarred the heck out of her. It happens all the time. 154,000 miles”

NHTSA complaint #10889087, filed 2016-07, 154,000 miles

2005: “My car wouldn't pick up speed then I receive a sudden thrust causing it to have a small jerk then takes off. Recently its been showing a ranch light know for throttle body issues code p2111 and p2104. This causes my car to stall in the middle of traffic especially on the highway which is a huge concern.”
