2017: “engine light came on. took to ford dealer , They stated that antifreeze was leaking in to cylinder. and that I needed a new engine. and that I should not be driving it because it could stall out or could catch fire. Ford has other ford engines doing the same problems . because of a seal . that they {ford} have been aware of. Codes from dealers code readers are reading number 4 cylinder messed up.”

The engine had a rough idle/chugging and white smoke from the exhaust that also occurred when the engine light illuminated. I shut the engine down, and restarted the engine to see if the issue would replicate, which it did, but not as extreme. …”
NHTSA complaint #11414464, filed 2021-04, 94,000 miles2013: “I have a hissing noise when pressing the brake and a softer feeling when pushing the brake. This happens when I come to a complete stop or when I'm idling. My vehicle was built in the plant that had a customer satisfaction program offer an extended warranty to fix this issue, but my date is 6 months off of their window and they won't cover it.”
