The vehicle was inspected by an independent mechanic who advised him that the right rear wheel bearing and axle fractured and needed to be replaced. The wheel bearing and axle were repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. In approximately two weeks, he began to hear the same rattling noises again. The vehicle was taken back to the mechanic who advised him that the left rear bearing and axle had fractured as well and needed to be replaced. …”
