“My f150 pickup has virtually no rust but 2 days ago I was underneath and saw rust spots on the engine oil pan and big bubbles under the paint so I thought I would scrape them off and rustproof but as soon as I scraped the oil poured out and when I put pressure on the rust spots (about 6 square inches)they were soft. If the oil pan would have failed at highway speeds I think it would be a serious safety issue. I am having the pan replaced oct 11 and will keep it.”
