Example complaints
Tires: “Driving on an interstate highway, the tread separated from the tire around the entire circumference. Failure was instantaneous and explosive. Minor damage was sustained to the vehicle from tire debris. Control was maintained as the tire was one of dual rear tires. I contacted both my local Ford dealer and firestone dealer, but they showed no interest. I am still in possession of the failed tire, but no longer have the remaining tires as I replaced them. The tread depth of the failed tire and the remaining original tires was very good, although I don't recall the exact measurement. …”

NHTSA complaint #739008, filed 2001-01Steering: “The steering on this motorhome is vague and while going over bumps there is extreme steering wheel movement. There is a feeling of a momentary loss of control when hitting bumps. I've never felt anything like it in any other car or motorhome. There are reoprts of the problem in various rv publications, including motorhome magazine, march issue. It is very dangerous to have a feeling of loss of steering control.”
