2005: “Stationary and in motion my awd malfunction light will come on, it does this multiple times a day, I just got this Ford the other day, nobody knows what the issue is, but I've seen thousands of other people have this issue. That almost caused me an accident today in the snow. Not very happy about it, and I don't want it to happen again. It's been doing this since I got it. I'm lucky it's not totaled.”
NHTSA complaint #11390922, filed 2021-01, 257,000 miles2007: “After starting the car in my driveway, I heard a loud 'helicopter sound' under the hood (to which I have come to find out was the transmission (CVT)). When I put the car into reverse, it violently raced forward, hitting the brick wall of my house. I have pushed it a few feet back and have not restarted the car for fear of this happening again.”

There has been many times it has done this almost rear ending the vehicle in front of hher.this has been going on since beet and my deceased father have own it.(2010?) her instrument panel goes bonkers now, and sometimes the car won't start and the panic alarm goes off when we get out of the car.”
