“My van was called for a change of part called a coupler or quibo. The fact is that after this repair under warranty, the vehicle vibrates at 40m/h. I went back to the dealer and they told me that the toque converter was damaged and that it would cost me $3,546 to fix it. The vehicle went into recall perfectly and now it is failing due to the same repair”

NHTSA complaint #11505957, filed 2023-02, 111,319 miles

“Dealership (wickstrom Ford lincoln) in barrington il refuses to repaid my vehicle safety recall (code: geuxoim). I scheduled an appointment on 9/22/2020 and the dealership sent me home because the part needs to be ordered. The dealership said they would call when parts arrive. Dealership never called, I called twice on 11/25/2020 and left a message. The dealership has not called.”

NHTSA complaint #11377067, filed 2020-11, 41,130 miles

“2016 Ford Transit wagon had a faulty part near the transmission that was repaired under recall warranty. However, when the parts failed, it damaged the transmission case and caused the oil's to leak out. We were given the ok to get back on the road, but now the torque converter in transmission is damaged. We believed when the parts failed, it damaged the transmission.”

NHTSA complaint #11190337, filed 2019-03, 130,000 miles

“The vehicle has had the Ford's final fix for 17v408000. I periodically inspect the flexible coupling and during the inspection today I observed a crack in the flexible coupling. Cracked flexible couplings are a safety issue, as evidenced by 17v408000. It is disappointing that Ford is unable or unwilling to repair this problem.”

NHTSA complaint #11255518, filed 2019-09, 93,370 miles

“We are a transportation company . And have bought 4 of these vehicles regretfully we are so overwhelmed with all the issues they have had , a number of major issues like speed sensors going bad throttle body have been replaced transmission replacement with only 60,000 driven... Loss of power while on the road you name it. …”
