“Sidewall split on bridgestone insignia se 200, size 215x70r15, DOT # wbm3 e20 0210. Mileage on tire 39k, still good tread depth. I still have tire if any agency would like to inspect. Didn't take it back to bridgestone b/c from what I have read, they would do nothing about it.”

NHTSA complaint #10679723, filed 2015-01, 139,900 miles

“My 2003 Ford Windstar has been continuously giving my electrical problems. First the rear parking sensors disengage when in reverse. While driving the ABS, brake and traction control lights come on the dashboard. I'm not sure what it does, but the vehicle does then not function properly. The traction control and brakes don't seem to be working properly.”

NHTSA complaint #10314974, filed 2010-02, 85,000 miles

“Failure(premature tread seperation) on 07/24/2005 at 10:30 pm my husband and I were in our 2003 Ford Windstar( on hwy 65) when we eperianced a blow out, we were traveling at the posted speed and there were no obstructions in the road. …”

NHTSA complaint #10130028, filed 2005-07, 52,900 miles

“Tire pressure monitoring systems fails. After set, lights up although the tire pressure is properly set. Advance trac system - automatically engages in conditions that do not require it (e.g. Driving on the interstate). The vehicle immediately slows with a griding noise. Both incidents have been reported to the dealer who has said that these are sporadic problems that have occured and that they have not been able to replicate, therefore, they can do nothing. However, after reviewing your site, I see that I am not the only person experiencing the same problems.”

NHTSA complaint #10074589, filed 2004-06, 7,000 miles

“I purchased four new michelin hydroedge tires for my wife's car in february 2005. Bgod haex 2004 215/65/r1698t. Two have blown, literally, apart on her Ford Windstar 2004 minivan - sel model. I have returned them to costco and they have replaced all four with a lesser michelin tire. Tires were filled w/ nitrogen. Both blowouts were in the heat of the day. No deaths or accident, but second blow up occurred at 65 miles per hour.”
