“Description of Incident: The car was sold with a passenger-front Dunlop tire that suffered a critical structural failure where the tread rubber completely wore away, leaving the internal metal cords and plies exposed (visual evidence attached). I was unknowingly operating the vehicle in this hazardous condition for 136 miles of highway and local driving until the defect was fully identified on February 14th. Component Availability: The tire was removed from the vehicle on February 14th by an independent service center during the emergency purchase of four new tires. …”
