“Bought car as new may 2018. 1 blow out and 4 wouod be bliwouts if I didnt see bubble in tires problems are with the front tires 33 PSI is incorrect on road balance machine I proved tires are under inflated. I made hyundai aware I own the car 10 weeks it sat at 2 dealerships a total of 3 weeks between ordering tires and fighting over who's paying for it. I asked many times for a regional mgr to look at this car. They are totally negligent. Nobody looked at and nobody drove. What they say is tire mfg says that 33 PSI is best performance and best gas milage. …”

NHTSA complaint #11113632, filed 2018-07, 3,000 miles

“The owner has had two blowouts in about 6 weeks. He got the vehicle in december 2017. This is january 25, 2018 the car came with continental procontact 19 245-45r/19 the load is 98w. His 2017 g70 had its tires recalled. And changed. I find it very suspicious that one car had two blowouts. I love my husband and I feel that this fact has endangered his life and I am alerting you to a potential safety problem and this will perhaps save lives. I think that the load of the car is too great or the wheel base is too long for the tires, but I am not an expert, I am a wife”

NHTSA complaint #11064667, filed 2018-01, 2,500 miles

“Both front continental procontact tx tires developed sidewall bubbles and required replacement with under 30,000 miles on them. This occurred from normal driving.”

NHTSA complaint #11339790, filed 2020-07, 29,000 miles
