“We have a 2004, Gmc Envoy Xuv, which we purchase brand new in 2004. Since last year winter, I noticed that my speedometer would get stuck and run erratically, which I thought at the time was due to the cold. Occasionally too, we'd come to the garage to find the rear window open and the tailgate unable to open. During those times, we were able to bring the window back up with the button inside the vehicle, as well as unlock the tailgate by locking and unlocking the doors with the remote. Also, the truck would stall during driving, especially at turns, but would start again. …”
NHTSA complaint #10342609, filed 2010-07, 72,000 miles“The consumers roof rack on the vehicle blew off while driving. The roof rack was hanging on the vehicle, the other hit the road and bounced on the turnpike. The driver saw the other vehicle swerving to miss the roof rack, but no accident occurred. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be repaired, but wanted to file a complaint first.”
