“Driving on a rural road in extreme cold. Approx 20 mi / hr. Gas pedal stuck to floor. Threw truck in neutral to slow down & by hand reached down to lift the accelerator from the floor. Incident did not happen again that day. Took to dealership & was told that a new accelerator would be installed.”

The contact stated that while driving up an incline at 45 MPH, the vehicle suddenly accelerated to speeds exceeding 45mph. Excessive pressure was applied to the brake pedal to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was not taken to have the failure diagnosed or repaired. The failure and the current mileages were 8,600.”
