“The dash board is cracked and rattles near the air bag. This is concerning that if an accident would occur, the cracked dash could cause further bodily harm. This defect just showed up unexpectedly and I am afraid will crack more as time goes on. I cannot recall if it occurred while driving or stationary.”
NHTSA complaint #11101509, filed 2018-06, 99,500 miles“Cracked dashboard. This is the second GM vehicles I've owned in which cracks appear on the dashboard for no apparent reason. My concern is if the air bag is deployed, small shards of plastic may lead to serious injury.”

When the dash board fails to protect the electronics there is a danger of loss of control. My position is this is a common problem with this model and is a manufacturing defect and a recall should be issued.”
