“Fuel pump fuse blows during highway driving. Not sure of exact speed. I believe I was driving at about 60 to 65 miles per hour. Blew four times. Problem once per mile. I got off the highway and took the street the rest of the way and the fuse did not blow. Have not been to a mechanic yet except for my dad and we both agreed that it was weird that the fuse kept blowing. Fyi when the fuse blew the engine just stalled and I coasted to the edge of the highway. The vehicle would not start either until the fuse was replaced.”

Owner purchases all vehicles from them for his construction company and maintains them regularly, as I have. I had the part and was told this was not thee problem. This vehicle had a 60,000 mile service brakes and new tires when I bought it. They charged me $1400 and 11 hrs. Labor for these repairs that should take no longer than 3. …”
