“My 18-year old daughter narrowly escaped death the evening of may 1st while driving my 2004 Gmc Yukon Denali. She was in a relatively routine accident in which she lost control of the vehicle at approximately 40 MPH and struck a tree head-on in a residential area of colorado springs. A good samaritan pulled her from the vehicle seconds before the vehicle erupted into a massive fireball that completely gutted the vehicle. Needless to say, I am enormously troubled by the fireball -- not something that should happen in this type of accident. …”

NHTSA complaint #10524671, filed 2013-07, 80,000 miles“2004 Yukon Denali xl. Faulty instrument cluster ( wrong MPH readings) on my 2004 denali. Not under warranty. Had to pay Gmc to replace. Faulty fuel readings. Possibly tank bad sensor. Gmc needs to recall these items or offer refunds to those who fixed problems with own money.”
NHTSA complaint #10185129, filed 2007-03, 65,000 miles“The majority of the time when I go to the gas station and try to pump gas, the pump always shuts off. It happens when I pump gas manually or use the lever on the gas pump. I pull out the gas nozzle and re-insert it and it continually happens. It is very annoying trying to fill up the 26 gallon gas tank.”
