2018: “When I let go of the brake the vehicle accelerates on its own. It's a scary feeling, I feel like don't have control of the vehicle. Another problem that I have is that I can not put my vehicle in gear right away when I turn on the engine. Another problem that I have is rattling sound and vibration on the gas pedal when I accelerate.”
NHTSA complaint #11398614, filed 2021-03, 5,000 miles2016: “Right rear brake light works intermittently. No warning lights or messages on the dash. People have told me we have a brake light out, but when I check it later it works. Was pulled over for inoperable brake light, but later that evening the tail light was working. Seems to be a lot of info on internet about a broken strip of metal. Safety issue.”
NHTSA complaint #11329074, filed 2020-06, 91,000 miles2015: “No brake light in both rear lighting assemblies. Started with the passenger side and now the drivers side. Gmc issued a letter in december 2019 stating they'd pay for repairs if vehicle is less than 6 years or 75,000 miles which ever comes first. We'll I'm over on both. Gmpp extended warranty doesn't cover this repair. Spend $75k for this truck and now this.”
