NHTSA complaint #10086898, filed 2004-08, 32,578 miles“Attorney is writing on behalf of clients, while driving 40mph in rainy and foggy weather, vehicle ran off the road hitting an embankment with the front of the vehicle and the air bags did not deploy. Driver's face struck steering wheel sustaining facial injuries. Inspection of vehicle found that a coil in the steering column was not connected which was the cause of the airbag not deploying.
