“Screws holding 2 piece rotor assembly came loose on fwy on way to work.heard a faint metallic knock on left side by primary cover. After work fired it up and headed to mechanic shop (non hd). Check engine light and battery light came on so to avoid more damage and poss accident I had aaa tow it to bike shop. They had to replace rotor,stator, volt reg and battery when stator windings shorted out. Hd extremely lucky I did not have an accident because of their faulty design/engineering/quality control issues. Really , a 3 cent screw comes undone at fwy speeds ??? …”

“Driving in traffic went to use the brake pushed on it. It went to the ground with the foot peg, my foot hit the ground the rod dug in locked up rear wheel and let go 3 times at 40 MPH (messed the car that stopped at last minute for turn). Then I looked down at the pedal and push rodstill connected to mastercylender was bouncing on the ground I was afraid that it was going to lock up again or dig in and flip me off ihe bike. I leaned bike way off to the left to krrp rod off the ground that made it almost impossible to stop with front brake.”
