“- the contact stated that the 2006 harley davidson wide glide with 4 failure mileage had a bad vibration in the engine, which seemed to be a transmission problem. He could no longer find neutral, and the handle bars were under recall 06v474000. The motorcycle was taken to a dealer eight times, with no resolution.”

The contact immediately brought the letter to the dealer, but the vehicle has still not been repaired. One week ago, the dealer claimed to have eight orders pending for the handle bars, but the manufacturer had not sent any to the dealer. The contact stated that this was a safety issue and would like a resolution for this failure. The contact cited recall campaign # 06v474000 for steering: wheel and handle bar. The current mileage was 5,500 ,and failure mileage was 5,100.”
