2023: “Bike has been at the dealer for almost 3 weeks now chasing electrical issues. HD corporate techs can’t even understand what’s wrong. The are running another diagnostic test on it today that will cost me another 3.5hr of labor on top of the other diagnostics they’ve already done. Luckily I wasn’t on a trip and stranded for weeks.”

NHTSA complaint #11740392, filed 2026-05

2021: “While going through an intersection at 50 mph the dashboard goes black and resets just like you switched the motor cycle off. This has happened to me three times in last 6 months. Dealer says it’s a bad switch and has since been redesigned and he will sell me one for $406.00, for an extra $100.00 they will install it for me. Plus towing to get my job working motorcycle to the dealer.”

NHTSA complaint #11737606, filed 2026-05

2022: “I have been operating this motorcycle for 11 months. THREE times, I have accidentally turned the engine off while in city traffic. The on/off switch has a lever which extends too close to the throttle. When wearing gloves it is way too easy to accidentally turn the motorcycle off. The engine stops instantly; tail light, brake light, and, headlight will remain on for another 5 seconds or so.”
