“Pulling out of a shopping plaza onto the highway, driving about 20mph at first, the rear of the car started shaking mildly. Within a few seconds the car started shaking excessively, vibrating very loudly. I thought I had 2 flat tires but then the indicator lights came on...the check engine symbol and the power system problem I immediately pulled over and checked the vehicle all of the tires were ok. …”
NHTSA complaint #10875468, filed 2016-06, 12,500 miles“Vehicle stalled while driving on a highway with power system failure warning. I could not accelerate the car. I had to take the exit since I was luckily in the right lane and close to the exit. Car was running on battery only at around 30 MPH. I pulled out in the parking lot, turned off power and turned back on and was able to reach home. I took the car to the dealer, they could not diagnose the issue right away and asked me to leave the cardie to drivability issue. They called us back after 2 days and told us that they updated the software. I do not feel safe driving this car. …”
