“I was driving and the driver's side visor flopped down obstructing my view. This had happened on the passenger side a few years ago and after I had it replaced the recall came out. Please let me know if Honda will replace it. It is very dangerous to drive along and have the visor fall. It will not stay up, only partially so it falls about 3 inches.”

NHTSA complaint #10606887, filed 2014-06, 37,523 miles

“My husband and I were on a trip and I didn't realize it, but people kept flashing us and I did not have my lights on. When we pulled over, my husband could not get out of his side of the door. It would not open. We were on the freeway, on a cold rainy day and visibility was bad, and not being able to have lights, or defroster work properly put us in a hazardous position. Later I found out as I took it to a mechanic was that our fuse box was not working correctly, and the lights on the right side only and the door and the defroster were not working. …”

“I have a 2008 Honda Accord. Each of the past 3 months, the windshield wipers have failed to work properly during use. Each time, they would be working and would stop. Honda service technicians replaced the windshield wiper motor after the 1st and 3rd incident. I believe they modified the bearings after the 2nd incident. The parts appear to fail about every 30 days or so.”

NHTSA complaint #10323866, filed 2010-04, 25,000 miles

“I purchased a 2008 Honda Accord and the lights continuously flicker whenever I use the AC or heating. The flickering is so prevalent that I'm afraid that others drivers may think I'm flashing my lights at them. This is a physical safety issue as I'm afraid of road rage as well as the fear that the car will ultimately stop functioning due to the amount of power that appears to be being used when the flickering happens.”

NHTSA complaint #10363784, filed 2010-11, 35,000 miles

“Sun visor falls down, obscuring vision. Bought car brand new, visor started falling down within first 4 months of owning. Repeatedly reported to dealership, was always blown-off as that's not covered and nothing we can do about it . Have inquired at different dealers; unable to get rectified. This is a safety issue. The dealer also blew me off when I kept reporting to them something was wrong w/brakes, from day one --as well as I repeatedly tried to get them to explain and address why my airbag light kept going off and on intermittently from day one. Both of those issues turned into recalls! …”
