“When driving in the rain wind shield defrost is not working because heating is not going to the windshield. I have to use cloth to wipe in side windshield to drive, it is impacting visibility. Heavy rain I have to stop during on the road. I feel like danger to drive car.”

NHTSA complaint #11208475, filed 2019-05, 164 miles

“3/4 power windows failed to work. Because I was over my mileage by a little my extra warranty that I paid a lot of money for would not pay to fix this. I also had a problem with my pedal sensor, which my mechanic said many Honda's have. The pedal sensor cost me over $700 out of pocket and the power window switch cost me $218. I wont be wasting my time buying a Honda anymore. I know they last a long period of time and this and that. Their customer service is the worst. I am going to try toyota now, hopefully they are better. …”

NHTSA complaint #10583666, filed 2014-04, 85,000 miles

“I have already had to replace the drivers side power window motor. Then in july while my car was parked for a week I came back from vacation used the remote to unlock the car and it would not work. I had to manually unlock the door. Then realized that the only power window that works now is only the drivers side. While searching on the internet for a remedy to this issue I found many, many Honda users that this has happened to. I see that the master switch has been recalled but only on the crv. Maybe, this should be extended to the 2007 Honda Accord also. …”

NHTSA complaint #10479524, filed 2012-10, 89,000 miles

“I have a red 2007 Honda Accord that I've only had for a few years and the paint has peeled along with its clear coat making it look rusty on the hood and trunk of the car. I've been told it's due to the quality of primer and paint that Honda uses. I wanted to know if there is something that can be done fix this issue.”

NHTSA complaint #10715787, filed 2015-05

“The contact owns a 2007 Honda fit. The contact stated that the headlights and the interior lights flashed on and off and a strong burning odor emitted while driving. The dealer advised that NHTSA campaign number 13v260000 (visibility) was performed however the failure was not corrected. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure and current mileage was 88,871.”
