“As driving on the highway around 50mph, I applied brakes and it almost had no stopping power. Later that day I checked it with the dealer and got brake pads and brake rotors changed. Not even after two months the braking power has faded. Please get this issue fixed as it is causing excessive braking problems which can cause an accident and damages.”

NHTSA complaint #10488748, filed 2012-12, 40,000 miles

“Just bought my Accord in september 2013 with 105k miles on it.when I test drove the vehicle I noticed that the brakes were sticky.when I came to a complete stop then when I accelerated it took a second or two for the brakes to release then accelerate again. They told me that they had just replaced the brakes and that's the reason why that it was doing that.so within a month later I brought it in cause the problem never went away. …”

NHTSA complaint #10692850, filed 2015-03, 108,000 miles

“My 2007 Honda Accord has braking problems. I recently had to replace the all of the brakes and rotors due to over heating. The brakes are mushy and applying the brakes results in a jerky, spasmodic, uneven effect that is close to resulting in loss of vehicle control. The symptoms are very similar to those of the 2008 odyssey that resulted in a recall.”

NHTSA complaint #10355883, filed 2010-09, 50,000 miles

“I'm having anti-lock brake problems on a Honda Accord 2007 se. The problem is that in snow the brakes are taking a ridiculous amount of time to stop. I have driven in snow for decades and it feels like it takes twice as long to stop with Honda's antilock brakes compared to conventional brakes. I am referring to city driving in situations where I'm only going 25 MPH or less and the brakes stop poorly.”

NHTSA complaint #10308207, filed 2010-02, 12,000 miles

“While braking the steering wheel began to shake. Took to the dealer who insisted a pebble or something must have gotten between so they wont replace pads for free. This problem has continued since and I keep paying their prices which is really affecting my life.”
