I am getting rid of it. Piece of junk. Do not buy one!been horrible and only had it since 1/1/11.”

NHTSA complaint #10396866, filed 2011-04, 2,500 miles

“While traveling on the highway, I noticed excessive vibration on braking. I took the car to the Honda dealer and was informed that the front rotors were warped. This was the second time I had this occurred in this car. At approximately 18,000 miles I had the same situation. Honda resurfaced the rotors and this problem disappeared. Honda is refusing to change the rotors. This is a safety and manufacturing defect that Honda should recall. Please attend to this matter urgently.”

“As I was completing a left hand turn, I applied pressure to the brake and my car began to accelerate despite my foot being firmly applied to the brake. I continued to maintain pressure to the brake yet the car continued to accelerate where I hit an embankment / tree, I steered the car back onto the road and turned off the ignition. I contacted Honda though was given a report indicating that there weren't any diagnostic codes & the Honda factory engineer drove the car 5 to 6 miles without acceleration issues. …”
