“The front seat electric heaters do not adequately heat up in either the high or low settings. Dealer techs claim the cabin climate control has to be turned up before they will work. They barely get warm. I own a 2016 hrv with seat heaters which work very well, are not connected to climate control and there is no comparison.”
NHTSA complaint #11292177, filed 2019-12, 500 miles“My drivers seat creeks when I get in and out of the vehicle. Also the drivers seat doesn’t stay elevated over time. I pump the seat up before I enter the vehicle to my desired level that is comfortable for me. However going on long drives the seat slowly goes back down again. The next day would often feel like I am sitting out the floor on the count of the seat goes all the way down all by itself, and without manually adjusting it. I never had a vehicle that did this. It seems the seats are not very good quality and are prone to failure. …”
NHTSA complaint #11735231, filed 2026-05“I bought my car brand new off the lot in March 2021, it is a 2021 Honda HRV sport all wheel drive. When I first got the car I want to say that it pumped around 5 to 8 times, now I must use the lever anywhere from 10 to 31 times, and it is always different. The fact that the car no longer holds its position has led me to need to buy a cushion to sit on to see over the steering wheel. …”
