2016: “I was driving on the highway and my dash lights all lit and my car stopped working. I checked under the hood and a plug had been blown off my transmission and spilled fluid all on the inside of the car. Got a tow to the closer Honda dealer and they said my transmission was destroyed with bits of metal all inside and my start/stop switch went out.”
NHTSA complaint #11407608, filed 2021-04, 85,000 miles2019: “Was stopped at red light. Decided to use brake hold feature and when traffic started to move I tapped the gas pedal to release the hold. The vehicle accelerated at an excessive rate and I ended up in the rear end of the car in front of me. Air bag sensor came loose and wire was dangling after impact and bag sensor didn't upload.”
NHTSA complaint #11319908, filed 2020-04, 19,000 miles2017: “I was driving home from work and hear a large boom sound and thought I was hit by something. I pulled over to check out my car and my sunroof looked like a vocano in the center. The sunroof exploded. Luckily I had it closed inside. I do not use it. The glass continued to fall. The picture is from when I got home so some glass had fallen in.”
