2017: “My engine started to have a clicking or a ticking sound, and then abruptly stop running. The dealer said that the engine is seized up. From what I have read, it sounds like the connecting rod problem that other 2017 models have had. I think that my engine needs to also be on the recall. Honda has offered NO help with this, what-so-ever, even though I think they know there is a manufacturing defect.”

2019: “My dashboard on my 2019 Honda Ridgeline is melting. It causes a glare that is reflected off of the windshield and into the drivers eyes. The Honda factory representative said they will not replace it! This vehicle is only three months old with 4302 miles on the odometer! It was determined to be inferior materials in other auto manufacturers vehicles!”

NHTSA complaint #11205964, filed 2019-05, 4,302 miles

2020: “On 12 or more occasions the truck braked for no reason. Nothing in front of me. It's been to the shop 3 times for this. I have done research on this problem and found out Honda has several law suites on their cmbs system going back to 2015. So why have they been aloud to keep this system in cars and trucks.”
