2016: “The fuel guage has stopped working at 35,000 miles. It is backlit but no information in the display. The car was stationary when the display quit working. I took it to the Honda dealer where I purchased the car and they changed the oil and reset the maintenance log and it started working again. When I got home, the display went blank again.”

Stating with an odd sound of metal to metal on cold starts (due to the starter not retracting fast enough) 5 people that live near me have all had the same problem my car is now doing it again with a 3 year old replacement denso oem Honda starter, Honda needs to fix this...”
NHTSA complaint #11320100, filed 2020-04, 10,000 miles2015: “The instrument cluster that shows the odometer and fuel gauge randomly doesn't appear when I turn on my car. It usually happens when it is cold outside (less than 55-ish). The screen will turn on sometime after driving 4-10 miles. At first the screen will look garbled, but then it will be fine. It looks like a ton of people are reporting this problem.”
