While the vehicle was parked at a fuel station, the contact exited the vehicle and all the doors locked independently without warning. A baby was inside the vehicle in almost 90% degree weather. The contact called the police and they broke the tailgate window glass to prevent glass from falling on the baby. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 110,000. The VIN was not provided.”
NHTSA complaint #11005985, filed 2017-07, 110,000 miles“The contact owns a 2008 Honda Odyssey. Upon parking the vehicle he was unable to unlock any of the doors. The windows also would not function. After repeated attempts of starting and shutting off the vehicle he was able to roll down the front drivers side window to exit the vehicle. During the failure the anti theft alarm system was sounding continuously. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer for diagnostic testing. The failure mileage was 34,000 and the current mileage was 35,000. Updated 01/14/11”
