“The contact owns a 2023 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the trunk independently unlatched. The contact stated that the failure occurred intermittently, requiring the trunk to be tied down to prevent reopening. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where it was diagnosed with water damage in the fuse box. The contact was informed that the trunk under the garnish area needed to be resealed, and the vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 76,465.”
